What Is FeeProbe?

FeeProbe is a free, browser-based payment fee calculator. It helps freelancers, small businesses, and SaaS sellers understand exactly how much they'll pay — or receive — when accepting payments through Stripe and PayPal (US rates). Support for additional processors is planned.

Beyond simple fee lookup, FeeProbe also solves the reverse problem: if you need to receive a specific amount, we tell you what to charge your client so the processor fees don't eat into your target.

How It Works

All fee calculations run entirely in your browser — no server-side processing is involved. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing to install. When you share a comparison link, the amounts and settings are encoded in the URL, which passes through our hosting infrastructure like any web request.

Fee Rate Data

All fee rates are sourced directly from each processor's official pricing pages. Every rate entry records the source URL and the date it was last verified. We review and update rates on a quarterly basis, and flag any changes between updates.
